Publication Fee
When an article is accepted for publication, authors are required to pay 500 USD for a Research Report, Review, or Hypotheses paper and 250 USD for a Short Communication. Page charges do not apply to feature articles.
Open Access option
In addition to the publication fee, the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease offers authors the option to make their article freely available on the Publishers website. For a total charge of 1200 USD (or 950 USD for Short Communications) your article will be freely accessible immediately upon publication. When choosing the Open Access option, the charge includes the Publication Fee.
Payment
If the manuscript is accepted, you will be directed to complete the Author Publication Fee Payment form in which you should choose the preferred method of payment and indicate if you want make use of the Open Access option. Upon receipt of your completed form we will send you the invoice by E-mail. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer and should be done immediately to speed up the production and publication processes.
