Biography & Research:
Marta Fernández-Matarrubia, M.D., Ph.D., is neurologist at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (Pamplona) and Associate Professor at Universidad de Navarra. She obtained her Ph.D in Medicine from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2016. Dr. Marta Fernández-Matarrubia has specific expertise in Behavioral and Cognitive Disorders and in Neurogenetics. She is an active researcher in Alzheimer´s disease and other dementias and has published several papers in the field. Dr. Fernández-Matarrubia´s research is primarily focused on neuroimaging in dementia and early biomarkers of Alzheimer´s disease. She is member of the Spanish Society of Neurology, Dementia Genetics Spanish Consortium and Sociedad Navarra de Neurología. In January 2018, she became Associate Editor of the Journal of Alzheimer´s Disease.
