Biography & Research:
I am an Australian Neuroscientist, received Ph.D. in 1994 from the School of Physiology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW followed by a postdoc at the Allegheny University of Health Sciences, Philadelphia, USA.
I have more than thirty-five years of experience in research, teaching, and administration in Neuroscience and Biological Sciences in various universities in Australia, the USA, UAE, Bahrain, Pakistan, and Brunei. During this period I not only taught at these universities but was also engaged in administration, research, and getting local and international grants.

• In 2009, developed a neuroscience society named Pakistan Society of Basic & Applied Neurosciences (PASBAN) and affiliated it with IBRO.
• Established “Nobel Prize-winning” technology of Patch Clamping for the first time in Pakistan, in a neuroscience center developed by a group of neuroscientists under my supervision.
