  • Alzheimer's Disease Research (American Health Assistance Foundation) - AHAF's Alzheimer's Disease Research program was established in 1985 to fund research on and educate the public about Alzheimer's disease. Contains grants descriptions and public education pages.
  • Alzheimer Research Forum - A scientific knowledge base on Alzheimer disease, with research news, expert commentaries, and databases for peer-reviewed articles, drugs, research reagents, grants, jobs, conferences, and more.
  • Alzheimer Society Canada - A not-for-profit Canadian health organization to help Canadians affected by Alzheimer Disease.  Our mission is to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer disease and promote the search for a cause and cure for the disease.
  • American Federation for Aging Research - AFAR has helped scientists begin and further careers in aging research and geriatric medicine. Our mission is to promote healthier aging through biomedical research.
  • Cellular Technology Ltd. - CTL provides a variety of ELISPOT products and services for immunology research. These include ELISPOT analyzers and software, reagents and protocols, cytokine assays, contract research, wet assay training and plate scanning and analysis services. CTL also offers consulting in assay design, and upon request, can assist with the statistical analysis and interpretation of the data.
  • Dementia Web (CANDID - Counselling and Diagnosis in Dementia) - Includes the home of the Dementia Research Group, "a multi-disciplinary research group funded by grants, industry, the UK government and charitable donations carrying a programme of research into dementia in younger people." 
  • Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation - This site, alzinfo.org, helps Alzheimer's patients, their families, friends and care givers make sense of the vast resources available. Built into the site is a geo-search function that allows users to access the most extensive Alzheimer's-specific databases with information on doctors, elder law attorneys, senior care centers and more. The site also features live moderated chats with experts. Message boards are coming soon to allow users to share information and ask advice of others in similar situations.
  • Hardin Meta Directory (Hardin MD) - A popular health portal site for several years, whose purpose is to provide access to the best lists of Internet sources in health and medicine; recently cited in a US News article on "Best of the Web: Health"
  • Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center - The IADC is a National Institute on Aging funded program whose purpose is to identify persons with probable Alzheimer disease.
  • Institute for the Study of Aging - ISOA is a biomedical venture philanthropy whose mission is to catalyze and fund the discovery and development of new therapies to prevent and treat Alzheimer's disease. Since 1998, ISOA has committed more than $ 21 million in support of 96 research projects at leading academic institutions and biotechnology companies in 8 countries.
  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke - A lead agency for the Congressionally designated Decade of the Brain, and the leading supporter of biomedical research on disorders of the brain and nervous system.
  • Neurosciences on the Internet (University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine) - Edited and maintained by Neil A. Busis, M.D., this is a very large, searchable index to all internet resources for the neurosciences.
  • Partners Program of Excellence in Alzheimer's and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases - Facilitates information exchange on research in neurodegenerative diseases by informing scientists, individuals, companies, and organizations of current research activity.
  • The Whole Brain Atlas - Contains a very extensive neuroimagery library indexed to specific brain diseases and disorders, including Alzheimer's disease.
