Biography & Research:
I have a degree (BSc) in Biochemistry & Neuroscience from the University of Surrey and a PhD from King's College London. This was an investigation into the relationships between synaptic biochemistry, clinical symptoms and pathology in post-mortem tissue from patients with Lewy Body dementia, Parkinson's disease dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I am now a research associate at King's College using in vitro models of Alzheimer's for drug repositioning.
