Biography & Research:
Dr Andreas Charidimou research interest is in the field of cerebral small vessel disease with a special focus on cerebral amyloid angiopathy, intracerebral haemorrhage (including cerebral microbleeds) and cognitive impairment. Dr Charidimou is currently working on these aspects at the Hemorrhagic Stroke Research Program, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, US.
Dr Charidimou has spent several years at the UCL Institute of Neurology, and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, where he completed his post-graduate and PhD studies.
