Fabricio Ferreira de Oliveira MD BBA MSc PhD FAAN is the Executive Medical Director of the Elysian Clinic in São Paulo, Medical Researcher of the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP, MSc in Medical Sciences (Neurology), PhD in Medicine (Neurology), Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, Member of the American Academy of Neurology Global Strategies Subcommittee, of the European Science Foundation Community of Experts, of the Awards Committee of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS, 2021-2025), and of the Alzheimer's Association Executive Committees of the ISTAART Biofluid Based Biomarkers PIA (2018-2025) and of the ISTAART Neuropsychiatric Syndromes PIA (2024-2026), HealthCare Council Member for Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), Atheneum Partners, Guidepoint, and Lionbridge. He is certified by CREMESP and the Brazilian Academy of Neurology as an expert in Internal Medicine (Medical Residency 03/2000-02/2002: Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ) and Neurology (Medical Residency 02/2005-01/2007: State University of Campinas - UNICAMP). He graduated from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ (Medicine: 1994-1999) and from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas – PUC Campinas (Business Administration: 2006-2009). He has worked with 493 collaborators in scientific and professional activities. He has been a member of the editorial board and/or reviewer of 133 international medical journals, of the International Scholarship Award, Mridha Spirit of Neurology Award, Alzheimer Award, de Leon Awards in Neuroimaging, ISTAART Publication of the Year Award, ISTAART Best Poster Award, MDS Public Service Award, MDS Honorary Member Awards and MDS Junior Awards, besides advising the Ministry of Health, The State of São Paulo Research Foundation - FAPESP, The State of Rio Grande do Sul Research Foundation - FAPERGS and The State of Tocantins Research Foundation - FAPT in Brazil, as well as the Institut Pasteur, the University of Ljubljana, the Global Biomarker Standardization Consortium, the SIGNATURE Initiative, the Global CEO initiative on Alzheimer's Disease, the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings, the Committee on Publication Ethics, the Elsevier Advisory Panel and the Kudos Preview Program, and reviewing abstracts for the Alzheimer's Association.
