Biography & Research:
Eva Mª Arroyo-Anlló is a Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at University of Salamanca and Neuroscience Institute of Castilla-León (Spain) in aspects related to the profile of Neuropsychology.
She is a Member of the Experts Panel in Neurosciences (Neuropsychology) in the XII Directorate-General for Research of the European Commission (Brussels, Belgium) from 2001.
She has had a training in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University Hospital of Montreal (Canada) and at the Neurology and Neuropsychology Units of University Hospital of Poitiers (France) abroad in the 1992-1996 period. She has participated in more than 35 international and national research projects in relation to Neuropsychology, in particular with Alzheimer disease and other dementias. The two main research lines are procedural memory and self-consciousness in dementias. The results of these research lines have been published in more than 60 papers in scientific journals and in more than 50 participations in congress.
She was the Director of Alzheimer Therapeutic Centre at Salamanca and she created her own company "Memory Clinic" in 1999, first company related to rehabilitation of damaged brain in Castilla-León. Currently, she is working as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at "Alaejos Clinic" in Salamanca. Besides, she is collaborating with the international and national companies as TransPerfect of United States, IOS press of Netherlands... and she does free consulting about clinical and research projects for several technological enterprises as INTERRA, SECYT or TEYDE.
For her carreer, she has received several awards Hilario Bravo, Caja Madrid, "Woman of the Year 2000" award from the American Biographical Institute "Juan Huarte de San Juan" and "World Championship 2019" awards.
