Biography & Research:
Junichi Iga, M,D., Ph.D is an associate professor of Department of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Ehime. He obtained his M.D. in 2000 and Ph. D in 2006 from The University of Tokushima School of Medicine. Dr. Iga’s research is primarily focused on the blood biological markers for neuropsychiatric disorders. He is currently working to determine the differential diagnostic markers for AD, DLB and MDD using blood mRNA expression and DNA methylation. He is also managing a cohort study of dementia (Nakayama Study) and a member of the Japan Prospective Studies Collaboration for Ageing and Dementia (JPSC-AD).
