Biography & Research:
Inga Liepelt-Scarfone, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist and has a Postdoctoral Position at the Department of Neurodegenerative Diseases, German Center of Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) and Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research, Tübingen, Germany. She obtained her PhD in Psychology in 2006 at the Humbold-University of Berlin. Between 2000 and 2003, she received a research fellowship from the Graduate college “Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience” (DFG) in Berlin. Her main research focus is on the early detection of Parkinson’s disease dementia, quantification of activity of daily living function related to cognitive dysfunction, as well as the evaluation of prodromal characteristics of Parkinson’s disease. She was co-author of the 2015 most cited clinical paper of the Movement Disorder Journal.
