Biography & Research:
András Horváth is a medical doctor and research fellow in the Alzheimer-Epilepsy Project of the hungarian National Brain Research Program. He has graudated at Semmelweis University as medical doctor. He worked at the Tranlational Neuromodeling Unit of UZH-ETH Zurich and at the Sleep Laboratory of Université Libre Brussels as a visiting scientist. Dr. Horváth has been also involved in the procreation of the hungarian National Neurofibromatosis Registry in 2013. From 2014, Dr. Horváth's research focuses on the common neural mechanisms of epilepsy and neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Horváth is a dedicated teacher at Semmelweis University, Department of Anatomy Histology and Embryology. He is an author of 20 scientific publications and serves as an editor or reviewer by many high impacted journals.
