Biography & Research:
I am a qualified pharmacist with experience in hospital and community pharmacy. I qualified in 2014, having trained at the University of Bradford and completed my pre-registration training at York Hospital and an independent community pharmacy. I was then elected Academic Affairs Officer at the University of Bradford Union of Students, where I represented the student body at University level for a one-year term ending Summer 2015.
I then moved to Manchester to join Dr Michael Harte's laboratory as an Honourary Research Assistant before securing the President's Doctoral Scholar Award and beginning my PhD in Autumn 2016. My PhD is focused on developing a novel rat model of relevance to Alzheimer's disease.
