Dr.Jagannatha Rao KS, FNASc, FABAP, FABS, FLS (UK), FRSB(UK), FRSC (UK)
Dr. Jagannatha Rao is born on 1st June 1998 in India. He is currently Director, Institute for Scientific Research and Technology Services (INDICASAT-AIP), Distinguished Scientist, Building 219, City of Knowledge, Clayton at Republic of Panamá, Adjunct faculty, Biomedical Informatics, UTHS, Houston, USA, and Advisory Board Member of minority scholarship in UT- El Paso, USA.
The research specializations are: Mechanisms of proteins conformations in neurodegenerative disorders, DNA dynamics in neurodegenerative brain, Neuronutraceuticals.
He is on the Editorial board member of 25 journals. He has guided 20 Ph.D. He was Visiting Scientist at University of Siena, Italy, DBT overseas Associate University of Virginia, USA, Visiting Scientist, University of Virginia, USA, Visiting scientist University of Tel-Aviv, Israel, Visiting Scientist, and Medical University of South Carolina, USA.
In Panama, INDICASAT is model Biomedical Research Institute with 28 faculty and 40 Doctoral students and published 225 paper in the last 6 years. INDICASAT has also established 4 Centers, a) Centre for Biodiversity and Drug Discovery, b) Centre for Neuroscience, c) Centre for Cell and Molecular Biology of diseases and Centre for Clinical Trials and Translational Medicine. The Institute has won Bill Gates Grant, NIH, MDA, Alzheimer’s grant and $10 million from India as line of Credit. This Institute in next 5 years wants to become the leading model Centre for Science advancement in Central America.
