Biography & Research:
Dr C Qiu is an Associate Professor and senior lecturer at Karolinska Institutet. In the past two decades, Dr Qiu’s research has focused on the life-course epidemiology of dementia, vascular brain aging and dysfunction (e.g., small vessel disease, cognitive aging, and physical impairment), and time trends of health in aging, which involves several population-based projects such as the Swedish Kungsholmen Project, the SNAC-K/MRI population study, the Icelandic AGES-Reykjavik Study, the China Health and Nutrition Survey, and the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS).
