Biography & Research:
Farzad Salehpour is a Ph.D. Candidate in Behavioral Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin, USA. Since 2018, he has been an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of “Photobiomodulation, Photomedicine, and Laser Surgery”. He is an expert scientific advisor for THOR Photomedicine Ltd (Chesham, UK) and ProNeuroLIGHT LLC (Phoenix, AZ, USA). He has over 35 scientific peer-reviewed publications and 4 book chapters (indexed by PubMed/Medline). He presents Brain Photobiomodulation training and lectures at the College for Light Medicine/Photobiomodulation in Starnberg, Germany.
His research expertise is Behavioral/Cognitive Neuroscience and Photobiomodulation Therapy in Neurology and Neuropsychiatry. During the past four years, he has had highly productive collaborations with many universities and photomedicine related companies worldwide, including Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Wellman Center for Photomedicine, National University of Ireland, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, QuietMind Foundation, LiteCure LLC, and Neuropathy Treatment Centers of America, to further advance the science and technology and elucidate mechanisms of Photobiomodulation in the Brain.
