Biography & Research: 

My initial research focused on functional neuroimaging in dementia. Recently my research has shifted towards the improvement of (early) diagnosis and diagnostics, e.g. early diagnosis in (presymptomatic) frontotemporal dementia by means of neuropsychology and neuroimaging; improving the recognition and treatment of neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer's disease; and improving culture sensitive diagnostics and care.
