Biography & Research:
Optimize and design rehabilitative exercise/dance and educational interventions for older adults with and without movement disorders, e.g. Parkinson disease (PD), or neurocognitive disease, e.g., Alzheimer's disease (AD) to improve mobility, cognition and quality of life. Detect mechanisms underlying movement pathologies and restoration of function by investigating motor-cognitive function and neural pathways through behavioral measures and functional MRI.
