Biography & Research:
After 12 years of clinical work as a physical therapist, mostly with older adult patients, I started my PhD-studies in May 2018. I was fortunate to get involved with a research group (UDDGait) with extensive experience and expertis in the geriatric field.
So far, I have one article published: "Dual-Task Performance and Neurodegeneration: Correlations Between Timed Up-and-Go Dual-Task Test Outcomes and Alzheimer’s Disease Cerebrospinal Fluid Biomarkers" (Journal of Alzheimer's Disease). We have a fairly large material collected concerning dual-task performance in patients going through memory assessment, longitudinal data from follow-up visits, and also dual-task performance in healthy controls, which we will use in future articles.
