Biography & Research:
My research focuses on imaging processing, analysis and applications in brain associated diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB). I have earlier introduced neural imaging analysis techniques into this issue. For instance, I firstly applied graph theory based brain network analysis to understand the spread mechanisms of A-Bate based on Pittsburgh compound B (PiB) PET images; I also firstly applied radiomics techniques to predict AD from mild cognitive impairment based on Fluoro-Desoxy-Glucose (FDG-)PET images. In the laboratory we establish several artificial intelligence algorithms (machine learning and deep learning) to support clinical doctors in Computed Aided Diagnosis.
