Biography & Research:
Nawaf Yassi is a Neurologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and joint lab head at the WEHI. His clinical and academic interests are in stroke and dementia. His work in dementia focuses on understanding the contribution of cerebrovascular disease to dementia clinical profiles, improved diagnosis using blood-based biomarkers, as well as exploring novel therapeutics through investigator initiated clinical trials.
