Biography & Research:
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery, Specialist in Geriatrics, PhD in Endocrine Metabolic Sciences and Nutrition, MS in Corporate Management, having work at Center for Cognitive Disorders and Dementia – DSS Catanzaro, ASP Catanzaro, Italy and strong commitment about dementias, with scientific interest in cardiovascular and metabolic component.
He was also Territorial Geriatrician in Regional Neurogenetic Center of the ASP of Catanzaro (IT), in the Districts 1, 2 and 3 of the ASP of Catanzaro (IT), in the District of Paola-Cetraro of the ASP of Cosenza (IT) and in the Districts of Modena (IT), Emilia Castelfranco and Pavullo nel Frignano of the AUSL of Modena (IT), with clinical activity of integrated home care, entrusting, protected resignation, extensions, geriatric visits; he was member Unit of Territorial Evaluation and Unit of Alzheimer's Evaluation and member of Coordination UVT.
Moreover he performed professional activity and research at UO of di Cardiovascular Disease of Polyclinic University Mater Domini, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University Magna Græcia of Catanzaro (IT) and at the U.O. of Nutrition of Foundation “Tommaso Campanella” of the same University.
At the same time he was Adjunct Professor of different teachings of Degree course in Nursing and of Degree course in Physical Education of the University Magna Græcia of Catanzaro (IT).
Member of numerous scientific societies, including Italian Society of Hospital Geriatrics and Territory, always with role assignment of Member of National Scientific Committee.
Award winner Best Communications at the 50th and 51th National Congress SIGG (2005 and 2006), Contribution for FMSI young members at the EFSMA Congress (2009), Travel-Grant SISA(2009), Vote Poster Simel (2010).
Author of various interventions during national and international conferences, of numerous abstracts and of several scientific publications in trade journals with impactor factor or indexed
