Biography & Research:
I am a postdoctoral research fellow in bioethics with the Neuroscience, Ethics and Society (NEUROSEC) group in the Department of Psychiatry, and the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities at the University of Oxford.
I hold a PhD in Bioethics from the University of Bristol. Since completing my PhD and prior to my current role I held both teaching and research positions at the University of Bristol Centre for Ethics in Medicine, and research positions at the University of East London Institute for Health and Human Development and University College London Medical School Research Department for Medical Education. I have been a visiting tutor at the Yale University Summer Institute in Bioethics.
Before returning to academia to take my PhD I spent three years working in medical education and policy research, and prior to this I took a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Healthcare Ethics at the University of Leeds.
