Biography & Research:
After a First Degree in Psychology and Master in Neuropsychology at University of Porto, Porto, Dr. Costa initiated training in clinical neuropsychology and completed her PhD with summa cum laude at RWTH Aachen focussing on neuropsychological assessment of longitudinal and intraindividual change in different clinical populations. In 2016 she was recognized as specialist in neuropsychology by the Portuguese Psychologist Board. She currently works as a postdoctoral fellow and clinical neuropsychologist at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen in Germany and focus her research primarily on cognitive and imaging markers in Alzheimer's disease and vascular disorders.
