Biography & Research:
I am a Neurologist at the Neurological Institute of the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and am head of the Frontal Neurological Syndromes and Dementia with Lewy Bodies Service. I completed my PhD at University College London where my work focused on the effects of dopamine on cognition in disease and in health. My current research is focused on genetic contributions to Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) and is also aimed at establishing biomarkers for early diagnosis of DLB with the use of various imaging modalities including EEG, MRI and PET. I have been awarded grants from the Medical Research Council UK and the Michael J Fox Foundation among others.
