Biography & Research: 

Dr. Yian Gu is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences in the Department of Neurology and Department of Epidemiology, Columbia University, New York. Dr. Gu obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology from New York University, New York. Her research focuses on epidemiology of Alzheimer’s disease. Currently, Dr. Gu is leading several projects to understand the role of dietary factors, physical activity, and other lifestyle factors on Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive decline, and other neurodegenerative diseases in the elderly.
