Dr. Maria Lazarova is an associate professor in the department “Synaptic signalization and communication” at the Institute of Neurobiology, Bulgarian Academy of Science. Dr. Lazarova is an active researcher in the field of neurobiology with more than 40 peer-reviewed articles. Her scientific work has been focused on neurodegenerative diseases – experimental models, mechanisms, and prevention.
