Biography & Research:
Dr. De Anda-Duran is a Research Assistant Professor at the Epidemiology Department at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Her research centers on identifying interventions that can impact brain health at the population level and reduce the disproportionate burden of dementia in racial and ethnic minorities. Specifically, by investigating cardiovascular pathways to healthy cognitive aging and using decentralized technology-based approaches to overcome research barriers and generate digital measures that may be more sensitive than traditional metrics to identify individuals who may benefit most from CV risk control.
