Biography & Research:
Natalia Ortí Casañ, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. She obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Neurobiology in 2023, where she focused on the role of neuroinflammation in Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Ortí-Casañ’s research is principally focused on the interaction between the immune system and neurodegenerative diseases. One of her main research lines consists on modulating different pathways of the immune system with agonistic or antagonistic therapeutics as strategy for the treatment of various neurodegenerative diseases.
