Biography & Research:
I am an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Bemidji State University. My Ph.D. is in Biochemistry and my post-doctoral fellowship was in Nucleic Acid Chemistry.
My research interests include biochemically characterizing RNAs that may impact Alzheimer's Disease pathogenesis. I have been biochemically characterizing RNA for approximately 15 years. I have published numerous research studies that were focused on RNA structure and how this structure impacts the biology of the RNA in the context of a cell.
