Biography & Research:
My research is focused on investigation of BACE1 ((β-site APP cleaving enzyme 1) physiological functions and its roles in AD pathogenesis using genetically engineered mice models. I received my Ph.D. in Neurobiology from University of Sciences and Technology of China. Following postdoctoral research at Cleveland Clinic, I am now an Assistant Professor and the Scientific Director of the Service Center for Neurobehabior in the Department of Neuroscience at University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
