Biography & Research:
I am a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow at NINDS, working in the Stroke, Cognition, and Neuroepidemiology Lab. My current research is centered around the fascinating concept of cognitive reserve and its impact on late-life outcomes, including dementia incidence and amyloid burden. I find it incredibly intriguing to explore how aspects of daily life, spanning from childhood to adulthood, shape both our physical and mental aging.
This interest in cognitive resilience builds upon my doctoral work at Boston University's Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. There, I utilized MRI and PET imaging to investigate the biological changes contributing to dementia and Alzheimer's disease pathology in older adults.
