Biography & Research:
My research is to investigate the accumulation and trafficking pharmacokinetics of amyloid beta peptides in the blood-brain barrier in Alzheimer's disease. Further, I am working on the mechanistic connection between AD and type II diabetes, with a special focus on BBB dysfunction.
