Biography & Research:
My research is situated at the intersection of psychology, health sciences and cognitive sciences. I investigate how lifestyle affects the risk for cognitive decline and dementia. I aim to develop evidence-based, complex interventions to improve brain health and prevent dementia. Furthermore, I am concerned with the question of how to validly measure cognitive abilities. I bring more than ten years of research experience in national and international working groups. Additionally, I have gained two years of valuable practical experience as a scientific advisor at the interface with health policy.
