Biography & Research:
Sulekha Anand is a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences at San Jose State University. Her areas of expertise include experimental design, biostatistics, neuroscience, human physiology, scientific writing, and academic assessment. She is a collaborator on rodent research in the Life Sciences Division at NASA-Ames Research Center, member of a research team conducting research on memory and aging, and member of a research team investigating innovative applications of AI to the teaching of physiology.
Dr. Anand has conducted research on primate visual-vestibular physiology at NASA-Ames Research Center, and on the neurophysiology of human eye movements, human visuomotor physiology, and the human visual system at UC Santa Cruz, Stanford University School of Medicine, and at SJSU. She also performed R&D on noninvasive testing of blood glucose for a biomedical company.
