Biography & Research:
I am an Assistant Professor and a clinical neuropsychologist studying late-life degenerative cognitive disorders. I consider individual differences in behavior, social support, developmental trajectory, physical health, motor function, and neurological function in my clinical practice and research. My research shows that neural and cognitive performance in late-life are plastic and that behavioral factors influence cognitive performance. Recently I have been examining how social support impacts cognition in older adults by using ecological momentary assessment (EMA) and ecological momentary cognitive testing (EMCT) to measure everyday cognition.
