Biography & Research:
Dr. Li Qiu-bing is a chief physician at China-Japan Friendship Hospital and an associate professor at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He also serves as an executive member of the Geriatric Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, an executive member of the Deficiency Syndrome and Geriatrics Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, and a member of the Digestion and Nutrition Group of the Geriatrics Branch of the Beijing Medical Association.He graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Medicine degree. In 2002, he received a Master of Clinical Medicine degree in the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. In 2012, he obtained a Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree from the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Li Qiu-bing has presided over and participated in many projects, including key research projects during the 10th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the National High Level Hospital Clinical Research Funding, major projects of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has published more than 20 academic papers in both Chinese and English. Meanwhile, he is also an instructor for the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine in Chaoyang District and serves as an executive member of the Expert Editorial Committee of the "Chinese Journal of Practical Medicine".
Dr. Li Qiubing's research mainly focuses on the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease by integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Currently, he is exploring the potential mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions in intervening in Alzheimer's disease by using network pharmacology and component analysis, and looking for new methods of treating Alzheimer's disease with traditional Chinese medicine.
