Biography & Research:
Graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) in 2004 and completed the PhD Program at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies. Following this, I held a position at Fukushima Medical University's Department of Public Health, where my research focused on disaster public health and dementia epidemiology. Currently, I contribute to efforts addressing health disparities in geriatric care, with a particular focus on dementia prevention and management. I am an active member of N-EQUITY, a national consortium that promotes implementation science in geriatrics to advance health equity. My work emphasizes integrating local expertise and scientific innovation to create culturally relevant health interventions. I aim to bridge healthcare gaps, ensuring preventive measures and public health responses are accessible and effective, particularly for aging populations facing increased risks of dementia and other chronic conditions.
