Biography & Research:
During his PhD MS Khan worked on the “Biological Clock Dynamics in Aging and Amyloid Beta Induced Alzheimer's Disease (AβIAD) Model in Male Wistar Rats”. The research mainly focuses on the circadian rhythms and oxidative stress biomarkers in the central pacemaker, the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), and other brain regions such as the hippocampus, cortex, and cerebellum. His work has provided valuable insights into the alterations in daily rhythms and their potential link to cognitive decline in aging and Alzheimer's disease models. He is an expert in utilizing stereotaxic apparatus for precise brain injections. MS Khan has presented his findings at multiple national and International conferences and has been recognized for his contributions at various stages. He has received the Best Poster Presentation Awards at tvarious International Conferences including ICC-202 and SNCI .MS has also been awarded a travel grant of INR 1 lakh to Travel to Nice, France to present his work in the EMBO workshop in April 2024. MS has publications in prestigious journals such as Biogerontology, Frontiers, and Springer Nature on topics relating to diet, circadian rhythms, aging, and neurodegeneration.
